Raya Holiday

I have a very hectic past weeks as I am trying to submit all the important documents and ensure that they in proper order. Besides that, I am trying to adjust myself to my new work place. I can foresee that there will be more hectic weeks to come. Anyway, I’m already in holiday mood, raya is just around the corner. There is this thought which is bugging me of late. I sense that there is this slight alteration of my mood. I guess I am sensing a lag in my normal leisure time.

Just so that I have not been playing my Xbox or PC games for weeks. I missed some of my favourites Astro sitcoms and drama series. Maybe due to the late payment of salary (3 Months plus) and not to mention the ‘hutang’ that I borrowed from others. Of course ah long is a big NO for me. I feel demotivated as how to survive and struggle in this real world. Hopefully, this coming months will bring more luck as Xmas is just a few more weeks to go.

To all my Muslims friends and relatives. SELAMAT HARI RAYA.

Light and easy to carry around.

Look at the size. Almost as big as the mouse pad.

Suitable to bring along anywhere and anytime. Hahaha...

Great Day.It’s holiday for a week due to the Hari Raya Holiday next week. I really need the break. Anyway, I am now using the ultra compact laptop, Eee PC.Of course it is not mine but I find it very useful. Quite flexible, easy to use, almost the size of A4 paper and really cool. It has only 2 GB and suitable for one day work especially doing some blogging as there are many cafe or hotels with wifi service. OMG...I need to get one of this big boy toy. Hahaha. Check out the design and the size. Gee, how I wish to trade in my old compaq laptop with this one. This is really cool.

Borneo International Cat Show 2008

Yesterday, I drove to Sabah Trade Centre, Likas to have a look at the Borneo International Cat Show 2008. I came to know the event after I came across the advertisement in a local newspaper and the website: www.borneocatclub. com. According to the website, the event is held for 2 days due to the overwhelming response from the public and cat lovers from Sabah, Sarawak and Brunei. The admission fee is RM 5 for adult and RM 2 for child below 12 years old. Unfortunately, I am a bit disappointed with the event commitee since it is an international class event. There was no brochure to promote the objective and type of cats that are being exhibitied. Furthermore, there are no sourvenirs, games stalls and society for prevention of cruelty to animals exhibition booth to further promote the event. Of course some poeple buy cat just to reduce the numbers of rats, giving it no love and mistreating it. It happens in our daily life that you can witness that one or two cats met an accident on the road. There are many poeple especially tourists and locals visiting the show and I am sure poeple may like to know more about it. Anyway, I am quite happy that KK is organising such a big event.

Charming cat

This cat likes to be pampered by humans.

This cat is having a grooming session.

Feeling really cool and proud of itself.

Cats are also avid spectators. They love to see what is going on around them.

Cat likes to sleep most of the time.

Friendly cat

This cat is quite adorable.

Colour match.

Signs

Lovely signs.

Park your car at your own risk....!!

SMC at Damai

Annual Health Awareness Campaign

This morning, I went to SMC to check out the free health awareness campaign. I heard it from my friend who just sms me yesterday. According to him, there is the free health check corner going on and anyone can check their blood pressure, pulse & SPO2, blood sugar, blood cholesterol, vision and tonometry for free. Absolutely free. Infact, it is good and healthy way to get our body checked regularly to ensure that our system runs smoothly. There are many packages available for a person to choose from at a reasonable price. Furthemore, there are also free health talk from 22 to 24 August 2008.

Oh no...Summon!! Outside SMC building.

Love letter for illegal parking

Anyway, as the parking lots was full of cars, I decided to park outside the SMC building. After 2 hours, I noticed several A4 papers were placed at the windshield of the certain cars. To my surprise, it was DBKK summon and there was no notice or any warning sign to indicate that a vehicle cannot park there. That is not fair! After all, SMC is having a health awareness campaign for the public. It is an event to promote healthy awareness to fellow Sabahan. Besides that, that area is not congested. So if you guys want to pay a visit to SMC health awareness campaign, park your car at your own risk or else the blue units will issue a love letter.

Life Quotes

Time is a companion that goes with us on a journey. It reminds us to cherish each moment, because it will never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we have lived.
