Yes. I conquered the majestic Mt. Kinabalu on the 19 November 2006. This time, I took the Mesilau Trail which took me about 3 hours longer in distance and hiking time to the junction of the original trail. The weather was fine that day and a bit of windy. I stayed at the Mesilau Resort and it was very cooling and the place was really nice except that you need a powerful vehicle to drive up there. I stayed at the Bishop Hostel. The service and accommodation was excellent.

I arrived at the Laban Rata somewhere at 3 pm and I was really exhausted. This is my 3rd climb since I completed my studies in university. I taken my early dinner at Laban Rata since I was really hungry. The food was very dear due to the cost of transfer from HQ to Laban Rata by local porters.

This plate of fried wet meehun cost me RM 13.00

The next day, I woke up at about 1.00am for an early breakfast. The guide and I started to climb the mountain via Gunting Lagadan. It was very windy and cold. Extreme cold. I reached at the peak just in time to witnessed the early sunrise. Splendid view. Anyway, I got lucky this time as the weather was fine and there was no rain. Thank god for that. Here are some pictures taken during the trip.

My Trip To Sabah Agricultural Park

Ok.....Recently I am quite tight up with my work. Well, Last month, I went to SAP (Sabah Agricultural Park) located at Lagud Sebrang about 15 km away from Tenom town. It was quite far but fun.......i mean lots of fun. Just an intro about SAP, it is actually called the "Garden of Learning" because it is offering educational and recreational activities. Just check out the web site and go to Sabah Agricultural Park using the search engine.

Anyway, I wanted to try out the camping since I haven't been to a proper camp site for years. Yes.......the last one was in Australia and that was ages. Anyway, the place was really awesome and relaxing. Nice landscaping too and lots of tropical plants. Check out the pictures and discover the natural wonders.
